A well-preserved pliosaur skull, belonging to a formidable marine reptile that ruled the seas 150 million years ago, has been discovered along the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. This 2-meter-long fossil is one of the most complete specimens ever found, with a fully intact lower jaw and upper skull. The skull showcases 130 razor-sharp teeth and provides insights into the pliosaur's powerful bite force and acute senses. The fossil will be featured in a David Attenborough program on BBC One and displayed at the Etches Collection museum in Kimmeridge.
